FamilyTime Woman of Distinction – Special Recognition: This honor is awarded each year to a woman who has played a large role in building strength in the Humble/Kingwood community through individual commitments and achievements.

LEADERSHIP AND NONPROFIT SERVICE

Ginger serves in leadership roles for these organizations:

Houston Ear Research Foundation: This organization provides cochlear implants to hearing impaired children and adults. Ginger serves on the Board of Trustees and helped organize the Marvin Zindler Annual Golf Invitational and Dinner.

Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM): HAAM provides educational and social services benefiting the homeless, hungry and others in crisis situations in communities north of Houston. Ginger serves on the Executive Board of Trustees and has been president and vice president of human resources.

International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Houston Chapter: IABC has more than 16,000 communicators in 60 countries. Ginger served as the Houston Chapter president, chaired the Bronze Quill Awards, was honored by her peers as Member of the Year, and received the President’s Award for service to the chapter.

Kingwood Alumnae Panhellenic: This group is a member of the National Panhellenic Conference, which assists college women with sorority recruitment. Ginger is a Phi Mu Fraternity alumnae and serves as vice president of recruitment for Kingwood Alumnae Panhellenic.

National Charity League, Inc., Livable Forest Chapter, Kingwood Texas: Ginger is a charter member of this chapter and served as president for two years. The chapter honored her with a lifetime membership.
